SERVICES
Dog walking and cat sitting services in Potomac, Maryland
Dogs
Your dog will have my entire attention on our walk. It’s important for your dog’s mental health to have time to sniff and enjoy the natural environment. Each dog has a unique personality, and I adapt to your dog’s needs and feelings during each walk.
I have many years of experience working with reactive dogs using positive reinforcement methods only.
A flat leash, harness and treats are required. I do not use any negative reinforcement methods such as pinch collars or e-collars.
Honeypaws is a concierge service for a select group of clients. Availability is limited. All clients require a meet and greet before booking so that we can make sure I’m a good fit for your dog. My minimum booking is 2x per week for a month. The client pays a monthly retainer in advance to reserve my time.
Walks are weekdays only, between 11 am and 4 pm.
Cats
During your 30-minute visit, Honeypaws will feed your cat or small pet, clean the litterbox, refresh water, and brush and play with your cat or small pet. I can also water plants and bring in mail. Visits are performed once per day at a non-specific time, usually before or after my regular dog walking clients. I do perform cat visits on weekends, subject to my availability.
The current fee is $25 per visit for up to three cats/small pets.

About Me
I was born and raised in Montgomery County. I lived in California for much of my adult life, and moved back home to take care of my elderly parents. Both of my sons graduated from Winston Churchill High School.
I started my first pet care business at the age of seven, and have loved animals my entire life. I’m fascinated by our deep connection to dogs and cats that goes back tens of thousands of years. I follow all the latest research on pet cognition and bring that knowledge to my interactions with my clients.
I continue to care for my mother at home, and my hobbies include restoring the native habitat of my property, organic gardening, making ceramic pottery and sculptures, and performing at living history events, where I portray a person living in Viking-Age Europe and Late Roman Britain.
I am a breast cancer survivor and a staunch ally of LGBTQ people.
